In the early days of Supernatural, Sam and Dean Winchester had their father’s journal to help them figure out how to kill any given creature. As time went on, they graduated to using the Men of Letters’ extensive library (and, as always, the Internet). Now, fans of the show will get their own monster-killing guide.

On September 12, in advance of the show’s season 13 premiere, Insight Editions is releasing Supernatural: The Men of Letters Bestiary, an in-world guide to the most deadly ghosts, monsters, and creatures encountered in the Supernatural universe. Written in the voices of Sam and Dean, it serves as a sort of journal for them, chronicling only creatures we’ve seen them face — which also means it serves as a walk down memory lane.
