U.S. Rep. Marsha Blackburn set out to galvanize supporters with her mastery of pop culture at the Republican National Convention on Thursday, quoting both Larry the Cable guy and Taylor Swift while on stage.

During her closing-night remarks, the Tennessee congressman (as Blackburn prefers to be identified) channeled the blue-collar comedian as she praised Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump. “The American people have had it, yes, and they are ready for change,” she said. “They are ready for someone to take the reins and bring us together. There is someone that can get the job done — or as Larry the Cable Guy would say, ‘Let’s git ‘r done!'”

Earlier in the day, during a panel about women in politics, Blackburn borrowed a line from pop star Swift while criticizing Texas Sen. Ted Cruz and other GOP members who haven’t fallen in line behind Trump.

“Republican women will take a lead in reuniting our party,” she said, “and encouraging these guys, as I’ve said several times this week, same thing I would tell my kids when they were growing up: ‘Get over yourself. Or as Taylor Swift would say, Shake it off!'”
