As in the 1992 smash Basic Instinct, Sharon Stone’s murderous character Catherine Tramell will again have a lesbian lover in the film’s upcoming sequel.
Stone revealed in an Access Hollywood interview that aired Thursday that the producers of Basic Instinct 2: Risk Addiction are in the process of casting her female paramour. Ever the quote machine, the 46-year-old actress added she wouldn’t rule out a romance with a woman in real life either. ”Why not?” Stone asked. ”Middle age is an open-minded period.”
